2 scenes were screened for the 1st time outside of the studio.
They were mostly in final rendered CG, except a few shots in storyboards or CG work-in-progress (without lighting, or only rough anim'...).
The first scene was reallllly good and funny!
Beware the possible minor spoilers if you don't know more...
OK?...
Fine...
The first scene then is set in Hiro's bedroom and we meet Baymax trying to "heal" Hiro, feeling that he suffers from something.
Baymax is programmed to be a nurse robot, and...he talks!!
The scene is really well written and the audience laughed a lot...especially when Baymax wants to know how is the level of Hiro' suffering while Hiro only wants to be alone.
But Baymax wants to heal him, cuddle him then finds the explanation by the puberty of Hiro! I won't tell too much but it was so funny...
The lighting is awesome and there are a lot of details. Hiro's looks more teenage than in the teaser to me.
And Baymax is really the star of the show and he walks like a baby penguin ; he tries to be delicate but as a big robot, it is not easy for him to move in the bedroom. ^^
Secund scene was a flight of armored Baymax in San Fransyoko with Hiro on his back. It might remind Hiccup and Toothless' flight scenes or eventually (to me) Marahute and Cody in rescuers Down Under but the scene is brilliant as you imagine. the backgrounds are stunning and the city is really modern, realistic, full of combos of american and japanese's culture.
