  • Bè, la possibilità di questo film di combinare cross-over tra personaggi come Batman, le Tartarughe Ninja e i giocatori NBA (stando solo a quelli che si intravedono nel trailer) si mangerebbe a colazione i camei di Ralph Spaccatutto, ma credo proprio che saranno solo gag sparse qua e là.

    In compenso: che razza di tecnica è?
    Una sorta di CGI che vorrebbe emulare la stop motion? Ho sentimenti contrastanti, a prima vista.

    Qualche bozzetto su un film Disney di Wicked che penso proprio mai si farà.
    La storia e i personaggi ne farebbero un Classico -perfetto-, ma ne sto sentendo parlare in termini di liveaction, con grandi registi che potrebbero occuparsene, dubito che sfrutteranno il musical di maggior successo del decennio "solo" per un film animato. Uff.

  • Sorpresona!Niente Pixar dopo anni! Che i critici incomincino a stufarsi della Pixar a prescindere? No perché comunque se volevano escluderla per demerito e/o presunto calo qualitativo hanno scelto proprio l'anno sbagliato, e preferire a MU i croods o DM2 è quasi un oltraggio!
    Possibile ci siano altre politiche di mezzo (la Pixar ha vinto 6 volte su 7 dalla nascita della categoria e ha perso dolo con Car2).

    The wind rises si qualifiche nella categoria miglior film straniero sola cosa che gli impedisce (credo e lo spero) di qualificarsi come miglior film animato.
    Di buono c'è che Frozen non dovrebbe avere alcun problema a vincere :)
  • Dopo l'abbastanza deludente Tom & Jerry Tales, arriva una nuova serie di cortometraggi sul duo comico più indistruttibile dell'animazione: The Tom & Jerry Show.
    Animata in flash e composta da episodi di 11 minuti ciascuno, la serie si ripromette di riportare in auge lo stile di Hanna & Barbera che tanto grandi aveva fatto i due personaggi. La serie debutterà il 9 Aprile su Cartoon Network.

    Sono combattuto dal risultato, anche perché, visto l'uso del flash, mi sarei aspettato un'animazione più fluida e in grado di concedersi più libertà creative nelle gag e nelle reazioni. Per ora siamo certamente ad un livello superiore a quello delle Tales, ma non so se davvero si potrà eguagliare l'età d'oro del topo e del gatto animati.

    Come potete vedere il film non è (purtroppo) completamente in animazione tradizionale, alcune parti sono CG con effetto toon/cel shading.
